THINGS ARE NOT LOOKING GOOD RIGHT NOW FOR E5 (THE OLDEST AN THE ONE WHO BEATS UP ON E6). SINCE YESTERDAY IS NOT INTERESTED IN FOOD & HASN'T EATEN. SEEMS VERY LETHARGIC. HOWEVER, E6 IS NOW THRIVING AND EATING EVERYTHING IN SIGHT. HUGE CROP!

ALMOST SEEMS LIKE A REPEAT OF LAST YEAR, BUT I HOPE NOT. WOULD LIKE TO SEE TWO HEALTHY EAGLETS FLEDGE FROM HERE THIS YEAR.

KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSSED THAT ALL IS OK WITH E5.

That is just too weird for the same thing to be happening again! What's going on I wonder? I watched a video from yesterday where everybody was shocked that the little one got to eat in broad daylight but never thought something might be wrong with the other one. How strange!

E5 - the big one - died tonight at 10:15 @ 25 days old.

Ozzie removed E5 from the nest today. Some portions of this video may be disturbing.

The FWC retrieved the remains and may or may not find a conclusion.

Ozzie brings in what appears to be a goat's head. I don't even want to know what happened to that poor thing. E6 is 32 days old.

Ozzie has been eating some mystery meat since shortly after 6:00PM. After he finishes he tries to swallow the entire pelt and struggles to get it down. Harriet jumps down from her perch to come to his aid. E6 is 33 days old.
